Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 21 May 2026
Yehuda Ben David is committed to making this website accessible to as many users as possible, including users with disabilities. This statement describes the accessibility status of tabbar.io and our commitments under Israeli accessibility law (Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations, 5773-2013 and Israeli Standard SI 5568, based on WCAG 2.0).
Conformance level
This website aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA where feasible. We check accessibility when making material changes to the site.
Accessibility features implemented
- Semantic heading structure (H1, H2, H3) for screen-reader navigation
- High contrast in the primary content text
- Alt text on meaningful images
- Keyboard navigation support
- ARIA attributes where needed (e.g.
role="dialog"andaria-labelledbyon the cookie banner) - Automatic text direction (RTL/LTR) based on the selected language
- Descriptive button and link text
- Primary body text at 17px; secondary text at smaller sizes
- Unrestricted browser zoom support
Known limitations
- Some videos on the site do not yet have captions. We are working on adding captions in a future update.
- Some legal documents may not be fully accessible to all disability types. Contact us if you need a document in an alternative format.
macOS Accessibility permission
The application uses the macOS Accessibility API to detect and track Microsoft Word and Excel windows. On first launch you will be asked to grant this permission in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility. This is an operational requirement — without it, the tab bar cannot identify Office windows.
Accessibility for users with disabilities
The application is designed to work with macOS accessibility features. If you encounter an accessibility issue in the tab bar — VoiceOver not announcing a tab, Zoom not magnifying correctly, contrast not updating — please contact us at wordtab.support@bdtech.app / exceltab.support@bdtech.app and we will address it as a priority.
